So proud of myself. Complete my first day at work in a UK school- SUCCESS! Caught the tube by myself- SUCCESS! Actually got up extra early and called the recruitment agency to get work for today- SUCCESS!

I am not familiar with the Central, Jubilee, and Picadilly Lines on the tube. Yay me!

My first day at work was the best! They even asked me back the next day... they liked me THAT MUCH! :) I'm still getting used to the terminology though like:

Carpet NOT Mat

Coat NOT Jacket

New names that I can't even pronounce and children that don't speak English at all!

Culture shock, but the kids were lovely and the teachers were so helpful and nice. I can't wait to go back. Today was a great day... but just so tired now! Having a snack (probably wouldn't call it dinner- leftover apple juice from lunch and a bag of small London crisps).

The only thing that could make my week now would be to find a room to rent :)
