Day 5: today started off with the leaders waking us up at around 9 or a bit after (depends on the girl, some woke up late). Kristal and Shannon kindly made us all pancakes (I had four). We then drove out to Confederation bridge and stopped off in New Brunswick at a little rest place right as you get off the bridge for a bit of shopping. After our mini shopping trip we took a hike to a lookout tower facing the bridge. When our little tower adventure was done we decided it was time to go back to PEI but before we reached the bridge we though it would be a great idea to take pictures in the middle of a field with a giant New Brunswick sign (may or may not have been illegal). Following the possibly illegal picture we drove across the bridge and made our way to a little area in Canoe Cove where the water was at low tide, a lot of little star fish and crab carcasses were found but the ones that were still alive were thrown back into the water and saved. Some girls (Sam and I) had to pee, along with Shannon so we had to kill a few bushes to relieve ourselves. It was worth it. After a bit it started to rain and we headed back to the cottage for dinner and Jade giving a few girls some amazing henna tattoos. The rest of the night just consisted of chilling around the cottage -Nikki Koeppe
