We woke up super early yesterday (unfortunately) to head out to the potato museum for a tour of a potato farm. After a long drive across the island we finally arrived at the farm. We got a tour to help us understand the journey of a potato. We saw all of the equipment used to plant, water/care for and harvest the potatoes. We then drove out to one of the fields of some growing potatoes and the fields were full of purple flowers. We then got to see at lighthouse on a beautiful red sand beach. We walked all the way to the top of the light house where it was very hot. After we went to a dairy farm and got to see and pet a whole bunch of cows one of them being only a few weeks old. Following the dairy farm, we went back to the potato museum and ate lunch with fresh French fries and other potato related foods. We then walked through the actual museum which showed us the evolution of potato farming. Then we made some delicious potato fudge and were off to our next stop. We drove up to the north cape (with some accidental off roading on the way) and did some shopping at a gift shop. Afterwards we started our journey to find some dinner. We ended up in summerside and spent 100 dollars in bulk barn. When searching for dinner we drove past a baseball diamond and screamed about the boys butts for an hour (sadly Kristal wouldn't turn around so we could see them again). We had dinner at a place called Pizza Delight then headed home to go to bed.
