We returned back to Mr and Mrs V (the perfect hosts) on Sunday 18th February. On arrival back we were treated to a boat ride arround to Urquharts Bay followed by an afternoon of boating fun. Both Matthew and Amelia were up for the Sea Biscuit and showed great determination and courage amongst the bumpy waves.Mr V tried out his new Wakeboard also to good effect. 20 years on he still has it ! Alas Mr P wimped out with his doctors note and thought better of delaying...

We have arrived in New Zealand after a good 14 hour flight from Los Angeles. We left on 11th February and didn't arrive until the 13th...having crossed the International date line...the 12th of February only lasted about 20 minutes. This amused Matthew. We arrived early in the morning and picked up the rental car before driving north towards Whangarei. In the end, we stayed the night in Wareawei (pronounced "Where Are We") and rented a two bedroom...
