Busy day. First of all, last night was "nuit blanche" here in Paris where there were a lot of contemporary (and very temporary) exhibits put on around the city (in certain concentrated areas). Today I went to Vinceness which has a rather large park and finally played soccer here in Paris! It was great, I walked around for a bit, found the official sports complex, went in only to find that no one was in there playing then sat down for a bit then as I was going to leave, I saw five guys with soccer like clothing heading towards the metro (after having clearly done some sort of exercise) so I asked them if they had come from playing soccer and if there ...

So i spent the morning checking emails, CLEANING the house, washing dishes ect, did some yoga with my $4 yoga mat : ) and then decided to wander about. So it turns out that the people who rent the apartment that I'm staying are willing to let me rent out the living room (which has a twin bed in it) for the month. After failing at writing everyday (shocker) I will attempt to correct this by forcing myself to write something every day, although that too may be a bad idea, we shall see. So I begin now. I've arrived in Paris. Made my way across the US and the Atlantic and arrived here at 6am. The sun isn't up at 6am. Just an observation. It was warmer than I thought it would be, not to say that it was warm, just warmer. Then I realized that my freaking out over the lack of warm socks could wait a few weeks.
