Had another great day today!

After breakfast took off with a 'Best of Kauai Tour' in a mini bus with Domi.

It was great and we learned a lot about the history and language of Hawaii. Domi would tell us stuff then make us all recite it back to him. Rather unusual but cleverly done and we seemed to retain quite a bit. (Not sure if we'll still remember it all tomorrow however!)

Went on a river cruise to a small cave and had Hawaian Hula dancers and musicians play for us. Then back on the boat and back to where we started. Had lunch in Kapaa town where we are staying and then to Kilauea Lighthouse/wildlife sanctuary and on to Anahola (where the guide lived and we patted his pet Boar called Omar. (and fed him lunch left-overs!)We then drove to Hanalei Bay. Lovely scenery and a very informative trip as well as lots of laughs!

It's amazing just how many movies were shot on Kauai (pronounced like Hawaiii but with a 'K' instead of a 'H') Jurassic Park, Raiders of the lost Ark to name a few. Heaps of celebraties own properties here.
