Back in Tui. Last here early March 2010. A nice little town - we walked round and visited the cathedral - it has an excellent tapas bar - La Jamoneta. The tapas here are the largest I've seen. With a glass of beer and a glass of wine costing €3.45 we each got a plate with a fried egg and a tomato based sauce plus a large bread roll. I don't really understand that sort of tapas, because if we had another drink we'd have had another plate of the same tapas. And this in a bar where there is a large menu of tapas ranging from €4 to €8. We did have an Alitas de Pollo (€5) and a Jamon Asado (€4.80) plus a racion patatas (€2) - OK but nothing special. We also got a bread basket, unasked for but costing €0.80. After that little lot (I had both eggs) it was back to the van. We have regained limited satellite use and Pinter's The Caretaker was the afternoon play on R4.
