Quite a large town, nearly all closed today being Good Friday. Trying to combine our need for a drink with WiFi we called in at Brannigans Irish Pub (yes!). There, two espressos costing €2.20 (£1.82) came with not only a chocolate but four tapas. Two were pieces of bread with large garlic mushrooms skewered to them and the other two had a buttery piece of tortilla.
We had re-scanned the tv and seemed to have a bigger choice of programmes than recently - though no BBC other than radio - but when we switched on in the evening we could only get Movies4Men and the usual news programmes such as Al Jazeera and CNN. Watched the last hour of I, Mussolini but had to switch off then as it was followed by something 'starring' Edward Woodward. Back to Mad Men which is still leaving us remarkably unimpressed. Heavy rain during the night.
After several more visits to town we left, in sunshine, on Easter Monday - scratching our first mosquito bites of the year.
