We have now left Koh Samet and finally arrived at our new resort in Koh Chang after an 8 hour journey. Our bungalow is right on the beach and first impressions are really good. For a start,there are no Russians and that is always good news as far as we are concerned and everything is so much cheaper than the last resort. Probably because it's a much bigger island and therefore, more competition.
People are either students on a gap year or our age group. Very few people in the 30/40 age bracket.

So much so that our age group are now referred to as flash packers instead of backpackers.

The temp rose to 35 degrees today, which is great if your not travelling.
