That's me catching my third Barracuda of the day. We have now been in Bang Bao for 4 days and have stayed In a wonderful and quirky converted fisherman's hut on a jetty. The jetty is linked to a pier by board walks of all shapes and sizes. There are no guard rails and one false slip will result in an involuntary dip in the harbour.
Some great sea food here and on one occasion, Paul ordered a red snapper for dinner, which weighed in at 3.5 lbs! The tiger prawns are at least 6 inches long too.
Walking back from the beach yesterday, we saw a troop of Macaques monkeys by the side of the road and five minutes later, we saw 2 Vietnamese pot bellied pigs emerging from a restaurant !
Have seen eagles, huge squid, barracuda and black tip reef sharks so far. A whale shark was also seen locally the other day.
Off to Cambodia tomorrow and a 0600 start.
