Day 1 and after a long 11 hour flight from Heathrow we landed in Bangkok in the middle of the afternoon. Very hot and humid, but better than English rain none the less! We got 'Limousine' taxi from the airport to our hostel in Bangkok, very nice place. We also found that we had just got rippedoff and paid loads for the limo instead of a normal taxi. Lots of ghekos about. Have just been out for a wander round the town and also a nice Thai dinner which was so spicy it made my tongue burn and eeys water but was well worth it. Planning to head to Chang Mai in the north in the next day or so and also to see the sights of Bangkok.
