Well the hectic routine of classes is finally beginning to take its toll on all of us. The kids in the house are locking themselves away to study and constantly comparing each others studying habits to ensure that they are doing as much as everyone else. There's definitely a competitive edge among all of these business students! I have my first 8 page paper due on Thursday! I haven't started writing yet, but I have done some research on the topic and outlined my ideas for the paper. That's pretty decent work for the queen of procrastination! I hope to have most of the paper finished tomorrow. I shall be spending most of my day on a computer in the library!
On Wednesday we have another formal dinner. President Adams will be here touring our program site and dining with us. The program directors seem nervous this week. It probably has something to do with the fact that the majority of students dislike Dr. Adams. He should have an interesting time at dinner. I plan on drinking a few glasses of wine and then giving him my blunt opinion on the plus/minus system at Georgia. Cheers!
A few of us in the house are counting down the days until the Harry Potter movie comes out. We plan on going to a midnight showing on Thursday. The only downside to seeing a movie over here is it costs 8£ which is roughly $16! Harry Potter is absolutely worth it though. We're debating on what costumes to wear. It should be quite the cultural experience.
I hope all of you are doing well and having exciting summers. Time seems to be flying by over here. I'm just trying to soak up as much of the experience as I can each day. This weekend the plans are leaning towards a brief trip to Cambridge. One of my friends in the house has an Aunt who works at the University, so we thought it would be nice to go and visit our rival school and perhaps T.P. one of the gardens! Just kidding Jorge.....
Well I'm off to stare at my finance book and I have everyone believe I'm as studious as they are!
