Hi all,
Not much to report from LA, still enjoying life in the hotel and have realised that if i had a lot of money i could quite happiy live in LA.
Yesterday, I went to Rodeo Drive which was really nice. I got the bus there which was a bit of a nightmare and didnt really stay very long. I did however find some shoe sales and with the sale prices and exchange rates i could afford/treat myself (as I spent much less in South America than anticipated) to Choos or Christian Louboutins or Mui Mui shoes and these were not the crappy end of sale shoes these were the real deal for about 100 pounds (with exchange rate)! It was exciting however none really fitted me all that well which was a bit disappointing, I found some Guccis but they were not perfect. After Rodeo Drive, I then went to Sunset Boulevard which was a bit of a let down I dont know what I really expected but it was just a long road with a few of the landmarks, i.e. Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory etc. After that long walk it took me a while to find a cab back to the hotel which was annoying. But what was even more annoying was getting back to the hotel to find a private party at the pool meaning it was closed off which meant another day of no work on my tan. In the evening, I went to the cinema and saw 'Knocked Up' - if you want a stupid film and fancy having a laugh then this is your film - it's so funny.
Today, I went on the tour of the star homes, I saw a few good ones. I saw Harrison Fords, Demi Moores and literally right opposite Bruce Willis' house and then Angelina 'slutty' Jolie's which had loads of childrens toys in the garden. After that I sat by the hotel pool and finally can see a little progression on my tan. It's about bloody time. In the evening, I went to Melrose Avenue for a spot of shopping. I admit I did get into the whole travelling thing whilst I was in South America but I'm happy to be able to shop again and I also have a suitcase now so I don't have to worry about an increasing weight on my back. It's all good!
Now I have to go to my room and pack in preparation for an early start tomorrow in order to get into position early for my Brad Pitt picture tomorrow! I'm looking forward to it and hoping I'm not disappointed by not getting a good spot. I already have my bottles of water ready in antipication of a long wait but it will be worth it (if I'm not disappointed - he had better be looking good and with any luck Angelina wont be there).
Much love,
P.xxx.
