Saturday 7th April
Journal entry brought to you by (a sleepy) Tami
Woke up this morning to catch our bus to our next destination, Noosa. Our hostel, the YHA Halse Lodge was really nice, very clean and tidy. Although there are, rather oddly, no plug sockets in the rooms.
We walked into town and went to the supermarket, then attempted to sort out buses for the Australian Zoo which we wanted to go to on the Sunday. We then went to the Police Station so Sophie could file a report on her iPod, and got chatting to the guy behind the desk and it turns out that all his family were from Coventry! It?s an insanely small world! We then went for a quick walk through the National Park, we didn?t quite have time to go all the way up to Noosa Heads lookout point, but we did see a rather beautiful sunset, and the scenery was just gorgeous anyway. And we saw a koala up a tree! Our first wild one!
We then cooked dinner at the hostel, I read some of my book and then I called my parents (who are fine by the way. Lilly has to have a bell on now because she keeps killing birds).
Sophie and I then wrote in our journals on the terrace and met a really nice girl called Vivienne. We then went to bed. Not the most eventful of days, but nice and relaxing.
