Today we drove to Rotorua for our second visit. As we did before all the Kiwi bus were dropped off at the Maori centre and we went and did the tour of the information centre again. Tami and I were very excited because we won a competition and each got a Maori bone carving necklace. Yes, I am aware we are vegetarians and probably shouldn't be wearing cow bone or what ever it is around our necks but they are a Maori traditional gift and beautiful. Rotorua seemed to smell more noticeably than before but we still love it. We spent the day walking around the town as we hadn't had the opportunity to on our last visit. OUr room is awesome as we have our own kitchen and bathroom and no bunkbeds! Having a bunk bed is fun and I love sleeping on the top but sometimes it is nice to have a bed on ground level that you can just flop onto. We went to the supermarket and went on a search for pie as I still havent't had one since leaving ENgland and Tami says it is imperative that I do...
I went out with Oli and Mike in the evening to Lava Bar (Matt, I am really sorry I wasn't there to answer your call) and had a good night chatting to some girls they had met on Fraser Island. Tami went to bed early as she wasn't feeling 100%.
