Journal brought to you by Sophie
We were supposed to check out today because we were going to sleep at the airport as our flight is at stupid o clock in the morning. I now know how we got such good deals on our tickets - it's because all our flights are at ridiculous. Anyway to cut a long story short we couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and decided to book the beds for another night. Therefore we spent a good percentage of the day in bed. Our reasoning was that in China we will not get much of an opportunity as we are on a tour and will have to get up at silly times then so we should take advantage of a lie in! We went to an internet cafe and spent an extraordinary four hours there updating the blog so you should be very grateful.. My eyes hurt so badly and I think I now have RSI. After that we ate cookies from this yummy shop and they were so good. They could quite possibly be better than Ben's Cookies plus they are cheaper too....
When we got back we had showers, packed our bags (I cannot even lift mine it is so stupid but I cannot bring myself to throw out any of my clothes even though some of them are absolutely vile. My pyjamas should be classified as a health risk.) and then cooked our dinners trying to use up as much as the food we had left over as was physically possible as we cannot take it out of the country. It was a very bizarre combination but good. We then spent the evening writing postcards and chilling out. Some of you who received postcards but have been confused and thought I had accidentally written you two the same. In actual fact they were written at entirely different times just in the same style (because to be honest I can't remember really what I wrote on the previous time) but they should definitely have contained different information. Unfortunately the NZ postal service is rubbish and appeared to have delivered them all in the same time frame. Sorry for any confusion.
We went to sleep at 11 for a great 3 hours sleep as the taxi was picking us up at 2:30am.
I am looking forward to China but will really miss NZ. It is a truly fantastic country and full of great memories.
