Yo yo mo fo's So Freiburg was a really nice little town we didn't do much there, just had a walk around, went to a really cool traditional pub and last of all Pabs had another tattoo done on the top of his shoulder of a Talisman for safety in travel which looks wicked. We stayed in Freiburg for 3 nights then went on to Champagne in France, which again was a really nice place, we had a walk round the town of Champagne du Chalons on the search for Champagne (the drink). We found a tourist office and they helped us book a champagne tasting tour at the Moet & Chandon production house which was a 20 minute train ride from Champagne in a place called Epernay. This was brill; a little snobbish for us scruffy travellers but we were well into the free champagne. Our tour guide was a right snob, dropping names all the time and she was well up her own arse so I found it funny when Pab started to ask her really awkward questions in front of everyone that she didn't know the answers to, she started stuttering then just ignored him and walked off haha. We decided we didn't want to buy any of the Moet champagne though because we can get that from Tesco back home so we had a walk round Epernay and found a smaller production house, they let us do some more tasting for 3euro's each this time though, then we went into their cellar to choose which champagne we wanted to buy.We left Champagne the next morning and travelled to Paris. We had a lazy day when we got there because the next day we got up early to start our typical tourist day. We started at the Arc de Triumph, which we walked to the top of, up the snail staircase. Then we walked down the Champs Elysees then on to the Eiffel tower. At the tower we walked the 1st two levels, and then got the lift to the top at level 2. Not sure how many steps we climbed but our legs were killing in the morning. Didn't want to pay 10 euros for a sandwich so we made a little picnic and ate it at the bottom of the Eiffel tower on the Champs du Mars. Because we were in Paris we thought we would treat ourselves and have a meal at a traditional French restaurant. Snails don't really taste like anything except garlic!! After dinner we made our way back to the tower to see the light display that takes place every night at 8pm for 5 mins. The next day we went back into Paris to see the catacombs which contained even more stairs to climb, we would have seen them the day before but we went too late and they closed at 4pm. The catacombs are really interesting and according to Hayley, really scary (as you can see by her face on one of the pictures). Some of the pics are a bit difficult to see coz we weren't allowed to use the flash. We really enjoyed Paris and did loads while we were there. We are currently in Brugge awaiting Pat and Joany. Speak soon xp.s. There are two albums to look at. 1) Paris2) Freiburg & Champagne
