Over the Hills and Far Away
One can't visit Barcelona without being completely overwhelmed by the genius of Antoni Gaudi. His design is so otherworldly. It's hard to believe he wasn't taken for insane in his time when you look at his work. It's like nothing else. He's probably the most important figure in the city, aside from Lionel Messi. We are going to enjoy one more night in the city and then we get to pickup our car at the airport - a Peugeout 308 GT - and head off to Alicante, a coastal town 4 1/2 hours southwest of where we are.

John Falconetti Off to a great start I see! And Barcelona no-less! iQue Bueno! I too look forward to reading about the many and exciting ventures-to-come as through the eyes of the Grazianos. Have fun and keep up the terrific posts.
John Falconetti So Barcelona is home for the next two weeks? I assume many day-trips across the country and perhaps weekends in other countries too, or just staying in Spain for now?
