Like a ship sailing off to the ocean we're getting our sea legs under us after some long flights from home. The calm and coolness of Reykjavik was a nice surprise despite the steep taxi cab fee from the airport in Keflavik to Reykjavik. What's a few kroners when you're traveling? Limiting our potential gelato intake will help us make up for the surprise expense.

We got into Barcelona late last night and have a nice apartment just off of Las Ramblas. There's a market downstairs so we can get any groceries we need, but we're off to a great tapas and gelato start so far. We just wandered around Las Ramblas and the side streets down to Port Vell. Tomorrow we are off to the Church of the Sacred Family and the Gothic district. AG
