Day 21 Busselton to Augusta Sally survived the frogs......and we got through the night's mossie assaults on the ranchslider! Long walk off an extra-long pier - 2 kms of it - into Geographe Bay at Busselton...and suprise, suprise, the little train that runs along it wasn't operating! Then a scenic drive into the Leeuwin-Nautraliste National Park to Cape Naturaliste lighthouse, Bunker Bay and rewarded with more frolicking whales at Sugarloaf Rock. Then further i...

Day 20 Perth to Busselton R&R retail therapy at Perth's outlet stores before a quick scenic tour through Freemantle. Nice drive south through the rapidly growing subdivisions between Freemantle and Mandurah...land for sale every 2 metres. Everything is brand new...houses, rail, McDonalds, service stations, supermarkets....kilometer after kilometer....booming! Scenic drive through the Tuart Forest National Park and into Busselton for another Big 4 experien...

Day 19 Perth Under construction, behind a fence or under scaffolding being renovated! Glad we didn't fly here to see anything. Did another self-guided tour of the city with a visit to the Perth Mint and Kings Park botanical gardens.

Day 18 Geraldton to Perth Another booming town...land for sale everywhere. Visited the Pinnacles in the Nambung National Park,,stunning limestone formations weathered-out from under the sand dunes...another alien landscape. Hit Perth fairly late and had to stay out in the Swan Valley in another Big 4...Perth is all booked out for some reason.

Day 17 Monkey Mia to Geraldton Breakfasted with the dolphins (and the flies). Morning tea with Sharks at Oceanpark. Shell beach and stromatalites at Hamlin Bay. Getting sick of swatting flies...wind direction made little difference. Further south into Kalbarri National Park. Murchison river gorge and coastal formations. Added bonus of whale displays beneath the Kalbarri cliffs just for us. Ground to a halt at Geraldton.
