Our Global Gallivants
The scenery got a little better today. It was really fun to be driving around the Butte area the convertible top down, tunes on the radio and 80 mph speed limit! Other than that, more of the same scenery. We are in Idaho Falls for the night. On our way to dinner, we turned down a street in front of the river. I said, we've been here before! Dave said no, until he looked at the river and then agreed. It took us a while to figure out how we ended up here before I finally had to look it up on a previous blog. Turns out it was last year on our way back from Yellowstone. We only stopped to walk around, but didn't stay overnight. The river is pretty memorable because there is a a water feature along the dam. We had an amazing dinner at Copper Rill Restaurant. We started with the soups-French onion for Dave and Southwest Chicken with white bean for me. Delicious! Dave had the pork Oscar and I had the special-pasta with shrimp and avocado in a cream sauce. After dinner we went for a walk in a small Japanese garden along the river.
