Wow! Can I just stay in China? AECOM Asia Pacific has me sold. Dr. Li was amazing, her passion for work inspired me in ways I couldn't describe. She went on to talk about every single building from the ins and outs as if she nurtured every one of them. I wish to get to a point in my professional career where I could do the same. The other VP, Mr. Stylish Aka Urban Planning Professional was awesome as well. He answered every question as if it was an important question and was really intricate about explaining things. I'm so glad we were able to visit AECOM that morning. I didn't get enough, so after lunch I went back and the employees blew me away once more. They were able to help us with our projects in ways I didn't imagine. I actually expected them to be very closed and secretive, but they let everything and anything about China's current infrastructure, rural areas, urban planning, and governmental issues with all of these things spill out of their mouths. The amount of information that was flowing compared to how fast I was writing-- well lets just say I was out numbered. I got to ride the subway which was awesome, during this trip we would have had every form of transportation under our belts. Last night Karaoking was the most fun I've had in so long. Dean Jones missed out. Being in class with this group, I never expected to mesh and actually be comfortable behaving the way I was last night. I was really able to open up and have fun (no alcohol involved haha!). I wonder what today's adventures holds.... I'm excited! So sad the trip is nearing an end.
