Yesterday we landed around 8pm in Beijing, China. By the time we had all gathered our belongings and got through immigration it was about 10pm. So we got to the hotel pretty exhausted before an early great wall field trip. The ride to the Great Wall lasted around an hour and half It wasn't your typical highway drive, we weaved in and out through the jungle (speaking metaphoricaly) before we reached our destination. I learned a year ago, not to look through the window to witness driving in other countries. You will have about 50 mini-heart attacks if you do. The best thing is to trust the driver and be on your way. hen we got there, we had to travel 1100 stairs to get to our meeting location. From there we explored about 6 towers and took some great photos. Throughout the day I felt absolutely amazed and my breath was taken from all the excitement around me. The most surprising thing so far has been the food. I've been enjoying our meals that the guests have been helping set up for us. I am excited to visit IBM today. Lets see what the day has in store for us all! Deuces Blog.
