A quick start this morning and on the road by 8. The country quickly changed giving way to more evidence of human activity with mango farms and houses, the road was also getting more traffic. A quick stop at woolies in Humpty Doo saw us resupplied and on the road south. We arrived at Sandy Creek (Tjaynera) Falls Camp area just before noon and got the last available campsite! There is only 7 sites so have to get in early. Also half a metre creek crossing keeps out the two wheel drives and caravans. We walked in the 1.7 km to the falls and enjoyed a refreshingly cool swim in a crystal clear pool. Very relaxing (for a while anyway). Some yobs decided to climb to the top of the falls ( 40 m drop) and throw some very large boulders into the pool. These landed where we had just been swimming and the other two young families swimming in the pool soon left the water. Not impressed.
