I keep having to remind myself of the day and date here as I'm so relaxed. The last 3 days have been spent chilling in Broome, mainly at the hostel and around the pool, although we were invited out for a bbq yesterday evening which was good, and ended the evening at an Irish bar where it appeared that the entire population of Broome was. Everyone in our group apart from Nina and I departed for various destinations in the last 24 hours, so it feels a bit weird right now, but Nina and I are both here until Saturday which is great, and then I've met another girl who is going to be on the same tour as me to Darwin. My arm is still looking pretty ugly, as the bruise has come out in it's full glory now, but still doesn't hurt and I've always had full mobilisation of it. I got a doctor who I met through a friend to feel it as I was a bit worried about a lump that was there and very tender, but he says it's most likely a haematoma (where it would have bled a bit internally) which is good. I don't know where time is going; it only seemed like I left Sydney a few days ago, but I have now been travelling for 19 days! Making some great friends and already have a reunion lined up with a couple of them. Western Australia has been so beautiful so far, and I think the fact that it's not so hit with tourism makes it more special. I'm loving the feeling of being in a real outback town with red dust everywhere and very hot weather - you have a shower here and then 10 minutes later you feel as though you need another one (ok - maybe I'm not loving that feeling so much!). Am loving the travelling, but am also genuinely looking forward to seeing everyone again (minus the cold weather). I'll need a few home comforts by then J Lots of love xx
