Today has been a day to relax and a night to party! I spent most of the morning in a hammock on the beach intermittantly reading and then dozing - pure bliss! I was still on Wayalailai island at this point, where I spent most of the day until my transfer to Beachcomber resort in the late afternoon. After lunch there was a free activity of swimming from Kuata island back to Wayalailai, which I would've loved to do if I hadn't packed my swim stuff in my main bag which I had already checked out and sent to the luggage pile. I did go over in the boat though, for the ride. Later in the day, I arrived at Beachcomber at about 5.30pm, dumped my stuff in the 120 bed dorm (not as bad as it sounds as it was split into sections, and it wasn't full) and then a few of us walked around the entire island in about 15 minutes, and then I dashed back through the middle in time to see the beautiful sunset. Beachcomber is known as 'the party island' and the evening entertainment did not dissapoint. We watched traditional Fijian dancing, followed by a couple of silly but fun games (like how to do the Bula dance - the Fijian version of the Maceraena) and then the dance floor came alive with strobe lights and club music. I tried an alcoholic 'sunset' cocktail, which was sooooo strong! The bar is huge and built over the beach, so the floor is sand which is cool. Eventually got to bed about 1am.
