When I was at school I really wanted to join the Police force but knowing that I'd have to wait 3 years before I could try I wanted to get straight out into the world of work.
I was offered a great opportunity as an apprentice and soon became fascinated in road transport. Articulated lorries had always had me wondering. How the hell do you drive those things? The drivers were like super heroes to me. I knew I'd like to be able to drive them.
I bypassed driving and became a qualified transport manager, the proudest part of my life at that point, I'd manage massive teams of drivers!
I did many qualifications and became pretty expert in my field, opening up an award winning business.
Little did I think, 2 years after winning the award I'd be sat in a lorry, totally pissed off with my career. What do I do next?
