Hi Everyone
We made it safe and sound to Minneapolis yesterday. After our early start from the hotel where we had to meet the shuttle bus at 4.20am we headed to the airport and went to check in etc. and had breakfast at McDonalds before heading to Minneapolis. Noel had one of the smallest McDonalds breakfast burgers we have ever seen. The photo doesn't really show you just how small it was! They make their eggs into omelets though to go on the breakfast burgers which he said was nice. I had the boring traditional hot cakes. The flight apparently was non eventful but I don't know because I fell asleep before we had even taken off and woke up just before we landed - guess I must have been tired! Noel said he slept most of the way also. We landed in Minneapolis just after 12 noon and picked up our hire car then arrived at Scott's house around 2pm. We then talked the afternoon away, went and did some grocery shopping and then Scott's friend Nan came over for dinner and we talked the night away also but we had a nice sleep in this morning. After talking the morning away (again!) we are now having a bit of a rest with Noel catching up on his reading to sit his written drivers licence test, hopefully this afternoon. As you can tell from the photo they have had snow here already and it is colder than we had thought it would be but luckily we brought enough warm clothes just in case. There isn't as much snow as last time we were here though so we are planning on getting out and about and looking around the area from tomorrow on. That's about all for now. We will update again soon. Thanks to everyone for the messages sent. They were greatly appreciated and we look forward to being kept up todate with the gossip from back home also. Take care for now.
Love to everyone!

Stephanie Hi Pam & Noel Great to hear that your made it to USA safe and sound - Pam I think you definately needed that sleep, you had been going non stop here for far too long. It's so nice to see snow, I am very jealous!! Tim and I visited Nan & Poppy last night (nan showed me her knee which is very black & blue), they are doing well and wish you all the best too. Tim was excited when the first texts came through that you had landed safely. The weather in Oz at the moment is drizzily rain, but at least that's keeping things cool. Not much gossip yet, but we did get more fishies :) Take care, enjoy the trip, lots of love Steph and Tim xoxox

Noel (tims father) Great to hear from you two and it's nice to hear you're having a relaxing time. I do envy you both. Can you do me a favour and find the most garish and ridiculous cop uniform and get a photo of the officer and either of you two. By the way did you know that "Lido missed the boat that day he left the shack.....?"
