Once again its goodbye to a country . . .
It was an early morning rise to hug the father before he went to work, I packed, found my second grey hair of the week, pulled it out, saw my mammy for dinner and got a lift off the aunty to the train station. I have to admit I was shattered feeling slightly anxious about getting on the train to get the tube to get the plane, I met andy for a cuppa at kings cross and I just thought it was all going to go terribly wrong by me being late.
But I made it, whoop whoop!
I have to say, I enjoyed my free magazines in the virgin lounge, especially as we were delayed for about half an hour or so.
The take off was horrendous, I actually was scared. As it left the ground the whole thing rocked side to side many a times, I was waiting for us to start spinning round. I felt like the plane had no control, it was just madness. Everyone just sat silent grabbing their seats trying not to get chucked outta them.
But then it was hunky dorey with quite a bit turbulence to begin but calmed down after. In my hour of watching the film valentine, well it didn't start well. Firstly I couldnt find where you plug the earphones into. I was trying to put in in all the screwdriver holes, I picked out the remote from the chair arm and was pushing the earphones in all the nooks and crannies, I checked the other chair arm, and in the end had to ask. They were obviously just on the end of the arm rest for all to see, two little holes.
I then went to break the 3 tv screens(I had 3 chairs to myself) so it resulted in me not being able to watch a film, which on virgin they play at set times, you can't pause for toilet breaks or anything. But never mind.
After food I lay down with my three pillows and blankets and dreamt about the plane crashing. Wonderful.xx
