Day 4, and the Tigers we're well and truley dopped UP....or strangely tame....those Monks don't half work wonders, but we got a couple of photos with them. A seriously long day, spending 8 of an 11 hour trip stuck in the car, or standing next to the car trying to get it started. The long day turned into an even longer night.
Departing Bangkok at 7pm (Actually 8:30pm after they had stopped taking people on, off, back on, back off) the bus, we finally left for a 6 hour over night trip. Six hours turned into twelve hours, and we arrived at some little cafe at 9am in Surat Thani. No where seems direct with Thailand, taking you anywhere but the place you actually want to go so all there friends can get a slice of the Rich's wealth.....and tempers flared haha.
Lost in Translation caused some Americans to hit the coach driver, who whipped out a metal pole which soon backfired......and the Thai driver ended up with a smashed nosed and injured leg, so that was the end of our lift.
Back in the Tuk-Tuk we made our way to the harbour, where we waited for an hour transfer, before we waited for a depature, before we travelled for two hours, before finally arriving in Ko Samui. We never planned on staying in places right on the beach, with there own pool, but at this price we may as well.
So in Ko Samui we remain for tomorrow (5th), to Ang Thong Marine Park on the 6th, and over to Ko Phangan for the 7th.....my 21st! Anyway, the mozzies are attacking, the heavens haved opened, its dark, and the sunburn is starting to, burn.....But all is good.
