In Amsterdam. Very different city, with churches alternating with 'coffee shops', canals with peep shows. Still, very cool even if it's very touristy and busy. Our hostel has different movie themed rooms... We're in the LOTR room, which is cool except for Golum staring at me when I wake up.

Wandered around yesterday, viewing the Dutch resistance monument and the canals before popping ink an English language bookstore, where we each picked up a book, being almost finished our own. We met our good friend Martin for a traditional Dutch meal before exploring the city together, grabbing brews and snacks from a number of different bars. A good night.

Today, we viewed the Dutch Resistance Museum, which offered a good look at the country under the Nazi occupation. After, we wandered again, stopping at Rembrandtplein to watch an amazing rendition of Stairway on an acoustic guitar. Relaxing now, enjoying the last of our time in Europe.
