Brilliant day in Vienna today! Very beautiful, well organized and not very crowded city!
Started off our day by walking in the wrong direction, but once we got that figured out, we made our way to an old flak tower in Esterhazy (not Sask!) Park that had been converted to a zoo and climbing wall!
After this, we made our way to the Hofburg, where we spent some time in the peaceful green space there. After this, we passed through the Monument against War and Fascism, erected in 1988 to commemorate innocent victims of WWII and the Nazi regime.
Next, we stopped at Stephensdom, one of the beat examples of gothic architecture in European churches. It was beautiful and a mass was on, but it was very crowded and as touristy as Vienna gets (which isn't that bad, coming from Italy, specifically Venice).
