I think I missed a day. Exhaustion set in, and I fell asleep while on blog duty. Vienna was beautiful although our hotel was not. Thanks, Kate Crane, for the suggestions for the Lippizaners at the Spanish Riding School and the National Bibliotek. Both were excellent. No Lippizaner photos as cameras were not allowed so I photographed some pics from a booklet. One horse actually skipped! Quite beautiful. We drove to Salzburg today and saw the most beautiful scenery ever. The leaves have turned yellow and red and are spectacular. We truly are in Sound of Music land. Our hotel, Goldener Hurst, is a real treat which is perfect for Norm's birthday. Tonight we have a special dinner and concert planned. Tomorrow museums and lots of walking in this picturesque fairyland. Love the comments from all of you.
