Woah, it's been a long time since I last updated this blog. No worries, I'm still planning my trips... Next week we're going to New York, New York and I'm so excited!!! We'll spend only one night there and then continue to St. Maarten through Philadelphia (one hour layover). So actually we're going to Sint Maarten but as I know absolutely nothing about St. Maarten (apart from the information from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sint_Maarten ) I'm concentrating on NY at the moment. Especially so as we're spending only a few nights there and I've never been there.

Miika, however, has been there (just returned today from the Big Apple - cheesy, I know) before. In fact, he needs to go there every once in a while due to his job. I'm so jealous! Anyway, if you have any ideas on what I should see or do within the few days, just e-mail me or add comments to my blog.

Now I'm looking for an affordable but a good hotel possibly located in Midtown (or not, I don't know where I should stay) and so far I'm swamped with different options. One good option could be the hotel Miika uses while he's in NY but I fear our wallets are too small for their fees...

I'm so excited that I can't really believe that I'll finally get to go to NY! And I probably won't believe it before I see the town (if even then).
