Day 7 Queenstown-Christchurch-WellingtonI left Queenstown on Saturday morning and flew to Christchurch where I stayed the day. Christchurch was a very 'english' town, but was full of character. Welcome to my elective travel journal!
This is where I keep you all up to date with my movements throughout New Zealand and how my placements are going in Wellington University Hospital.
I would love it if you all keep in touch by leaving little messages for me so I don't get lonely and make sure you keep checking for photos, that's if i can work out how to upload them?!

Nini,
Man, it sucked that we kept missing each other before you left but hey that's what happens when we are saving lives as we do! Sooo great to see some of the pics - you look real happy and that makes me smile - keep it up!
Keep the logs coming - I read almost every word, honest and enjoy yourself - certainly watch more rugby (was watching Bath sat) - it's good for you!

Hi sweetie
I write this from lovely grimy London while you are proabably sitting in the sun with a beautiful view!! Glad to hear you got there ok, I don't envy you the flight but I do envy you the experience I think its one of those things that is a really good thing to do in your life on your own - you're very brave!
I sent you a card and a little thing but I think it prob arrived at your Mum and Dad's house after you left - maybe they will send on to you, otherwise its waiting for when you come home.
Slap on the suncream girl and have a lovely lovely time....I want to hear all about it and if the water really does go down the plughole the other way!!Take care, be safe ( I know your Mum will be saying that so I thought I'd back her up...)and send me a postcard!
lots of love Louise ( and Imran) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi NuddieKindaRuddie!
Hope you're having fun in NZ! It's all a bit daunting at first, travelling on your own, etc. But stick with it as it will get easier and you'll meet lots of people in the same boat i'm sure. Take lots of pictures and pop them on this site if you can - i'd love to see where you're working etc.
Have a lushous time and will be in touch xxxx
Big hugs

Dear Nina
so you made it at last !. We were all slightly anxious but never really doubted your resiliance, I did not envy you the trip, only the end destination. its a long time since I had to do anything on my own, I thought my trips to Seattle were long enough.
See the country and don`t work to hard (and don`t stay there) well not yet. lots of love from us both we will keep in touch.

By now you should be up in the air literally and metaphorically! but by the time you read this it will be but a blur. I hope you have realised that there are real people who live in Windy Welly and that you do not feel on your Nelly.
Will send news and maybe even a photo or two from the world famous Ashton Fete & Produce show.
