Day 7 Queenstown-Christchurch-Wellington
I left Queenstown on Saturday morning and flew to Christchurch where I stayed the day. Christchurch was a very 'english' town, but was full of character. There were huge outdoor markets and street entertainers everywhere plus the sun was shining so it was easy to spend 8 hours just walking around! I left Christchurch airport that evening and got back to Wellington. I left Chritchurch in a T-Shirt with temperatures of 24 degrees to arrive to the Wellington temperatures of 10 degrees plus rain!! No where else in NZ has these weather conditions! On the plus side, an English winter will be nothing compared to this!
During my week I managed to cover a lot of the South Island, obviously I would've like to have seen more but I got a taste of the country that alllowed me to see why everyone I speak to loves NZ so much. It is a magnificant country and the people are so friendly which makes travelling alone extremely easy.
I hope you enjoyed reading this and i'll try and get the photos on soon but it is laptop dependent!!
I arrive home in less than 2 weeks and am really looking forward to catching up with you all, because I have missed everyone do much.
Take care and drop me a message or email if you have time,
