12.28. O MY GODD!!! I don't really have another word for this day but I'll try to write something anyway. This morning, my bed just couldn't let me go which ended up with me having no breakfast. We soon gathered and packed our bags to go to Eleusis/Elefsina, to visit a school. I really don't know if there was any structure in there, but it sure didn't look like it. The lessons were quite chaotic and nobody seems to give any sort of reaction when the school bell rings, and just stay outside. We had a presentation in some kind of aula. During that time, Juan called me, and as I didn't have my silent modus on, my brilliant ringtone, which is classic from tenacious d, was widely and clearly heard. After ending the ringtone, not quick enough though, he phoned ----- (had to get out of the bus) -------- (14.42)—again, luckily my phone was silent now. Our lesson, or what should be a lesson, was really great… just answered some Q's about our school system in the informatics classroom. Internet was so close, and yet so far away L. Afterwards we had some lesson about some sculptures, which we all recognized from the previous days. In the bus towards the archeological site, one greek came with us and the rest had to walk. Seeing beautiful ruins, yet again, and the museum, including the portal to the underworld, where Nikki and I were supposed to go down, but weren't allowed to do that. What a pity! After walking to the beautiful sea, which is apparently too poisonous to swim in, we are not sitting in the Friends café, where I just ordered a banana smoothie, just like Elise, but I got a strawberry instead. Never mind, as this is also delicious. Btw, I found my whit/blue house, my rgngg, both guy and girl, and I got called by the Chinese Muur in the bus, and the mother asked me to work today, not really knowing I'm in Greece… But anyway, I'll be back in business tomorrow J. See ya!
18.57: not much to say now besides the fact that I'm now at the gate, waiting for the time we can board. Just got some money to go buy sth, but no shops are here, except the stupid shop not worth a name and not worth me standing up and see how it's called. So my dinner was some choco cake and some chocolate… Today was very nutritious with no breakfast, 1/3 of a sandwich + cake for lunch and this now. Listening music and realizing I'm dressed way too cold for Holland, I'm sitting here thinking about the fact I'm really going back and am leaving Greece for real. What I'm going to miss? Not the food, except the mini mangos, but certainly the temperature, the travelling feeling, including hotels, changing clothes 2x a day, and being surrounded by people all the time. Also, being able to comment on people and speak freely without having the chance of people actually understanding you. Different languages can be frustrating, but is also very handyJ. I know my journal is about to reach it's end soon, as it's a travel journal, and my travelling will be over in just some more hours. In my little book I have now a bit more than 27 pages, wondering how much it looks on the internet, and also wondering how the hell I'm going to upload all my photos and videos… but I'll see about that later XD. Now gonna say bye, not for the last time, but almost… Hasta la pronto!
20.51, we're in the airplane, and are now waiting for it to start driving and flying. I just found out that all the people are Dutch and the family in front of us in the row we had for boarding, were at the Epidaurus theater Wednesday afternoon, and as we were singing Brabant, they asked us if we also were the ones who were singing Guus Meeuwis there. OMG! People recognize me!, not really famous but anyways! Cool! Right now we are starting to ride to the right area to fly, and we noticed we don't have any stewardesses, well, one, but more stewards. And really everyone is speaking Dutch, which confuses me a lot. Too bad it's like practically night, considering the darkness, so we can't see Athens nor any other place very good. Although be night --- faster, faster, almost impossible to write, faster, faster, and off the ground!! --- the view is also great. Beautiful light as we go higher and higher. XD… Too bad we (which is Elise and me) are situated just near the wings, but not at the emergency exits (like last lime), which means no great wide view and not even extra room for our legs L. Going to listen to some music now, we are currently airborn…
1.23, in Belgium right now, but it's practically Holland, so I can consider this trip for over. Slept some in the plane and now in the bus to Veldhoven. The temperature was a depressing 7°C when we landed, which will now be even lower. Still sitting here in my short pants, but luckily I got my jacket out of my suitcase. Else I would have just frozen to death immediately, which isn't so very convenient. I tried to call Juan's phone, but apparently it's not a number I can call, so now doubting whether he can read my messages. I'll be at school in Veldhoven in I think about an hour or so. There my mom will pick us up to drive us home so we will never see the others again… But we have hyves or facebook and the Ning Griekenland site, so at least photos and comments can be posted. The movie I'm not watching and which I don't know what I's about, is with the guy form Tenacious D and School of Rock, but still I'm not going to watch. Everyone in the bus is rather dead and sleeping and right now I'm wondering why the hell I'm always getting checked at the "douane". Lately have been frisked on all of my flights. Do I look this guilty or dangerous? Never mind, I'm officially gonna finish my journal for this trip to Greece, which was in one word, or some more: wonderful, fun, great, warm J, and interesting. So bye all, maybe till another journey!
