Had a great time in Auckland, had my visa put in my passport - says I am 'permitted to remain in Australia indefinately!!!' How good is that, ay bro! Did i tell u i went to c U2!! Awesome! !Had a pretty mad time partying in Queenstown until all hours of the next day, drinking vodka and champagne cocktails in a teapot!! Or 3! Been to some glow-worm caves in Te Anua. Been to Milford Sound on a little boat that took u right into the waterfalls. The scenery is amazing altho it was cold, wet and windy! No kidding; New Zealand comin into Summer is not that different to Canada going into Winter!! Got a campervan-u should see me hurlin that beast round the corners! Tomorrow I'm going up a mountain in a gondola and down it in a luge? Some kind of go-kart type thing. Then I'm going in a little 2 seater plane, where i sit behind the pilot and he spends 25 minutes looping and rolling it - can't wait, altho I'm brickin it! Oh, and I've changed my flight, so I'll be in Sydney for Christmas instead of Auckland - ACE!!

Hi Nicky
Have just read all the entries - what a brilliant way to keep a diary! Loved the photos too. So pleased it's all working out so well for you. Look forward to hearing about the rest of your stay in NZ

Hey Nicky!
Nice to see you still enjoying yourself. Its only now that i'm working 9 to 5 that i realise how much i took those days snorkleing and sunbathing in fiji everyday for granted.
Take care

Hi All,
It's been a while; I've been busy havin an amazin time! I've been swimming with turtles in Hawaii - he was happy just swimming around with me for nearly 20 minutes - cool! I went to the Yasawa Islands, Fiji - where i met lots of the local kids, visited a primary school, took part in a Kava Ceremony - a local drink a bit like muddy water, where you sit in a circle with the chief and spokesperson, clap, say Bula, everyone else says Bula, drink the bowl of Kava, then clap 3 times. It tastes pretty disgusting and if you drink gallons of the stuff you can barely stand. It's how the locals entertain themselves most evenings. I partied at Manta Ray (us Brits were the only nationality that didn't have a clue to the words of our National Anthem - shameful really, when everyone else knew theirs), partied some more at Beachcomber - that was great. At all the islands u get breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked for you - bonus, and lie on the beach in the baking hot sun the rest of the time - not such a bad life, eh? I went snorkellin and saw blue starfish and a poisonous, but good looking sea-snake, as well as many other colourful fish I don't know the names of. Went to Bounty Island where they filmed the first series of Celebrity Love Island - had an amazin time there. Now at Jez's house in Auckland, where the weather is somewhat cooler! Went to see U2 saturday night - they were brilliant! Jez put me up on his shoulders for about 5 of the songs, so for once I had the best view! Fantastic - loved it! Flying down to Queenstown now - the adventure and party capital of NZ!

I get the occassional update about you from Nicky and i'm very pleased for you. Bet ya little lads gorgeous. Did you know I passed my test on a motorbike 2 years ago in the uk and bought a Honda CBF 600. I had to have the suspension lowered but i really love riding it. Disappointed i can't use it throughout the whole summer because it's just too hot wearing protective clothing. I go for a long ride when i stay with my friend in Yannian and it's building up my confidence. Last year Nicky and I toured the Greek Islands on it for 5 weeks, it was amazing but my top speed was only 50 mph. Nicky said it was like pushing a shopping trolley around asda when we went round corners. Cheeky b***** isn't she! I'm comfortable doing a 100 now and it's great. Stay happy Kev Love to you and you family and if you ever want a holiday your always welcome here x x x
Ya Ma
Continue having a great life my darling and up to now my plans are to see you in oz in may. It's raining here at the moment but as usual the sun will return with it's usual intensity from time to time. Was on the beach yesterday. Work couldn't be better as all my students are intellegent and eager to learn. Having the pc and the car is going to make the winter here more bearable. Retsia is also lovely and warm too during the cold weather. I go twice a week straight from work. Have lunch with Mike every thursday in our favourite restaurant too. He's such a nice man. Sam's amazing isn't he. Like talking to a very commical adult. He keeps telling Sophie "me other Nana is coming at xmas" and she runs round the house repeating it. He's so funny. Says no way will he ever forget me "NO WAY" Enjoy NZ give me an address and i'll send your documents off. Filakia para poly agapi mou x x
