Hi guys, I've found a library where hopefully i can load my pics onto the site. So many things to see and do tho - i've been busy! Off to Yosemite for a 3 day camping trip with Pete and John now, so promise to try to put u some pics to look at on here on Sunday!

Hi Nicky, Hope you got the e-mail. Reading your journal brings back a lot of memories. We were in Vegas, Grand Canyon, LA, Hollywood and San Diego 2 years ago last Easter. I'd fancied going back this year but an 11 hour flight with a 1.5 year old takes courage! Tenerife it is!

Enjoyed my 3 days at Disney. Went on hundreds of rides! My favourites were Indiana Jones (riding on the rickety carts, just like in the movies), the Runaway train was fun thru caves, and the rollercoaster in Space Mountain in the dark among the stars. Watched the Parade, the firework display and a laser, firework and character show on the lake - Great! Met Mickey, Goofy, Pooh and Eeyore!! Sunbathing by the pool for a couple of hours as have a 10 hour overnight bus journey to San Fransisco!

San Diego; very smart. Pleasantly surprised. Staying in the gaslamp area which is full of bars and nice restaurants. The Welsh guys i met in Vegas are here so hanging out with them for a bit. Went to Seaworld, got Shamued (soaked by Shamu) Lots of fun. The killer whales are beautiful, watched the show twice. Fed a dolphin. (Carefully) touched a sting ray! (Gutted about Steve!) Had an amazin day. Been to the zoo, nothin special, just another zoo. Going to the wild animal park tomorrow. Stayin with a family in the suburbs, so get to see how the Americans live!

LA and Hollywood! What can i say..well i've done them..bit of a dive!! None of it lives up to what you hear. Went with Lisa and a couple of guys from the hostel in Vegas, so had a good time anyway. Got all the touristy pics.

Not easy kayaking 11 and a half miles down a river when u weren't sensible enough to go to bed the night before! Stayed up listening to Fraser play guitar. He was amazing. He went to bed for just an hour and missed the kayaking! I thought the flow of the river would help, but it really didn't help a lot. I was exhausted and aching all over - and that was after just a few miles!! Great tho!

I swear everyone should do this travellin thing!!!

Went on a plane, helicopter and boat tour to the West Rim of the Canyon. The helicopter was so awesome!! Have to learn how to fly one of those things. I want another go!! I asked the co-pilot how many hours tuition to fly the plane and how much it cost, he asked if i was interested, i said i'm definately gonna learn, so he sat me up front with him and the pilot and gave me some headphones so i could hear and watch all the checks they go thru etc - totally amazin!! Buzzin...

Been on a camping trip to Zion National Park, The Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. Parts of the Grand Canyon (North Rim) were so awesome i could have sat there all day. The rocks were different shades of red, yellow, orange and green! Wow!! Bryce canyon is beautiful, like nothing i've ever seen before. Unfortunately, not many pics to show as camera broke so i was relying on a disposable. We slept in a tee-pee with a Native American from the Navajo tribe, learnt about their beliefs and customs, the significance of each aspect of the tee-pee, collected firewood and built our own fire and then toasted marshmallows. The whole experience is unforgettable!

Vegas Baby! Havin a ball! The hostel here is amazing, has a swimming pool, free pool table and everyone is so friendly. As soon as i walked into the bar, the guys invited me over to play pool. Lovin beatin the guys! The hostel is in the worst neighbourhood on earth - can't even cross the road to go to the shop on my own, have to go in a group, as the place is swarming with druggies. Not stopped anyone havin a great time though. Been on a champagne Limo tour and to a couple of clubs, checked out the Casinos. Met a couple of Aussie guys who took me to the casinos and showed me how to put 20 dollars into the slot machines to look like you're playing and get free cocktails! Only minimal stalking of the waitress required! Had pool bbqs, played pool(te)quilla, climbed on to the roof! Met some excellent people. Can't begin to tell you what a great time i'm havin!!! The pics will give clues...

10 hours on the bus to New York! Not a fan of New York. Saw 5 broadway shows including The Lion King, saw the Statue of Liberty, went up The Empire State Building, visited ground zero and went to see The Yankees play. Some people are very polite here, but many are incredibly rude. Hope i think more to the rest of America or i'm out of here! Weather crap too! Off to bake in the desert - Vegas next!
