Thanks for all the comments so far. Its good to hear from everyone at home.
After Prague we stopped overnight in Gmund in Lower Austria, right on the border with Czech Republic. It was just a breather stop and to split our journey between Prague & Bratislava.
Arrived at our Bratislavan campsite which resembled more of a concentration camp. However, all was ok and we immediately caught the tram into the town. Essentially Bratislava is a small historic centre surrounded by an ever evolving concrete jungle of new shops, hotels and business centres. The historic centre is small but unlike Prague there are very few tourists. The centre is also clean, pretty.... and I may even say chic. There are lots of lovely buildings, tons of restaurants, plenty of pretty ladies, and the odd high class hooker.
We ventured to the top of a new, crass structure called the 'UFO'. At a cost of 13.50 euros for two persons, this was the most expensive lift ride I have had! Still, when in Bratislava.........
Bratislava is a lovely city to visit, mainly due to its low number of tourists, but the old centre is pretty small and therefore is probably too small to be recommended as a destination city; but as part of a longer trip it is a little gem.

Mum Hi Nick and Jackie The photos are great and the food looked almost good enough to eat. You are both looking really tanned and I hope you are havihg a great time. Ps from Tory - It almost looks like Nick is wearing socks and sandles in the photo on top of the UFO tower. I thought for a moment that the aliens had got you.
