We skipped dinner last night so woke up mega hungry! We walked to Union Square which is only 2 blocks from our hotel. We strolled around the area and had some food before heading up to China Town. After walking around China Town we headed to Fishermans Wharf via Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world) passing through the North Beach area and Washington Sqaure on our way.

We walked up the VERY steep Lombard Street and from the top we could see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. We walked down hill to Fishermans Wharf where we spent a couple of hours looking around the piers, stalls and shops.

We walked back to the hostel, stopping at a pizzeria for a slice of pepporoni each on the way for our dinner!
