This morning I woke up early to the sound of heavy rains. It actually sounded like a waterfall dumping on our little cement room and a half asleep Tava asked me to "turn the fan off", hehe, it was off! I found this to be very relaxing for about thirty minutes, as I have become accustomed to sleeping through Midwest storms. Relaxation turned to worry as I thought about our anticipated boat trip to the jungle this morning. Is the town going to flood again? Will we be able to go? Then I thought of the sandbags around POPPYs house and the little villages that will be swimming in waste water this morning and felt sad.
