Good morning...as I sit and read your blog while drinking my coffee, I cannot imagine how frustrating this must be, as far as the lack of proper setting, lack of medications, lack of all that allows us, here in America, to pratice our mad medicine skillz, however, you say there is a flip side and the people are happy. I guess you could say, if you don't know what your missing, your doing pretty good, but you know, and I am sure that is weighing on your heart. Thank Will for us for allowing you to use his camera, I don't think I could make it without some photos :) Please be careful with the monkeys and snakes you pick up...your making me nervous!!!

You are right:these people are a testament to the power of dignity and self respect in the face of adversity. Its strange that one of the women blamed "the hole they live in" for illnesses including Malaria.
