I have arrived safely in Cape Town. I'm happy to report that the weather is absolutely AMAZING! 75F with a slight air breeze. I arrived yesterday around noon after 2 cancellations out of DC, and a 7hr layover in London. As soon as I landed I felt "jet lagged". Sly who is the driver for the program picked me up from the airport and brought me to a packpackers hostal for the night. The funny part is that when I went to sit on the passenger side of his car I was SURPRISED to see the wheel of the car on that side, needless to say that I haven't travelled that much in my life hahaha. These are the news for now and I will upload pictures on my next blog.
Saying see you soon as I drink my South African coffee and get ready to be picked up by the program coordinator to be shown around, settle in my new home and get introduced to the people at St. Anne's.
Peace for now
Nia
