Sorry it took me a while to write this blog, but I have been worried about my grandma's health. I am glad to report that she is recovering well from her surgery:). The last couple of week's at St. Anne's have been busy to say the least. I now understand that my job duties at St. Anne's are way beyond strictly counseling. I am proud to inform that I have completed other tasks such as playing with the children, reading them stories, feeding them, and cleaning them ...

Last week at St. Anne's was a good one. The ladies seem to feel comfortable talking to me and although there are some that speak mostly Afikaans, I do my best to talk slowly and explain things in detail. The ladies have been very welcoming and on my lunch breaks I go visit, play, and feed their children at the criche (daycare).
