Hello everyone and thanks for checking my blog. I am counting the days down to leave to South Africa (19 to be exact). I just wanted to thank everyone who has been extremely supportive about my trip. As many of you know, I have always dreamed of going overseas and being able to help…so this is just the beginning of a new journey in my life. I am very thankful to God for having all of you in my life.

Mirna Munequis: I don't even know where to start. it's always so hard for me to write about my feelings that today I will try to express what you really mean in my life. When I first met you in the BBBS Holiday party I liked you right away. I remember we started sharing very personal things that same moment. Right that moment, I knew you were going to be a very special person in my life. We laugh together, we cried together and we traveled together ha ha ha...I laugh because you are the only one who realized that I use a different PJ for every day ....and that secret is not a secret anymore thanks to you. I have to say today that I'm back to school because of you. You were a great inspiration in many ways and right now I feel happy and sad at the same time. I know I'm loosing my "Traffic friend" you know what I mean right...we were in traffic almost 1 hour and we would gossip about so many things together during that time. I feel so happy that you are finally doing what you always wanted and I know this trip is going to change your life completely...I'm sad because I won't have you a call away to tell you about my stuff, my dreams and all my worries. I won't have you to tell me that it's going to be ok if I don't get an A in class ha ha ha...All in all mune, I love you will all my heart and please don't ever forget that you have been the friend that I always wanted.
