Well - It's been a couple of weeks since my last blog entry.

Carolann and I are now well settled in Queenstown but she leaves for Sydney next Saturday which will be sad. I will not see her for a couple of months until I reach Australia.

For the last couple of weeks I have just been snowboarding, working at KFC and chilling with Carolann. We have also decided to name our new car Tommy after Thomas the Tank Engine.

We had a big dump of snow about a week ago (30-40cm) which made for some brilliant days snowboarding. I had to buy snow chains for the car so it could make it up the mountain. Driving in the snow was brilliant fun. Mostly boarded at Coronet Peak resort as it is the closest to ueenstown and the roads to get up there are not as lethal as some of the other resorts. I have added a couple of pics and vids from up there which you can have a lok at.

Carolann and I have also had a few days out together. We went on a drive to a place called Glenorchy one day. It is a beautiful drive along the edge of Lake Wakatipu to the other end which is about 40kms away. I have also added some pics from Wilson Bay which is on the way there.

We also had a trip up the Gondola in Queenstown. At the top there is a bungy jumping place, a luge course and you get some great views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range. Carolann and I did the luge 5 times as it was so much fun. I have also added some photos of this.

I have had about 2 weeks of working in KFC now. It's now getting to be second nature doing it. I dread going in to work but I usually come home with loads of left over chicken at the end of the night so Carolann and I are getting well fed.

Apart from that we have not got much else to report. We have been going to pub quiz at local casino on Monday nights and went to see Batman at the cinema. Yesterday, Carolann and I went to Queenstown gardens for a walk and I had a quick o in the skatepark there.
