Tasha on her travels
hello everyone, well the end is nigh! well ish anyway, pretty excited to be coming home soon , but also very sceptical of rentering the real world! so we drove up to auckland and took us forever to try and find some accomodation with parking so we made the decision to get rid of golam! hes served us well but we had no use for him anymore! auckland is alot bigger than the capital wellington, kind of strange to be amongst som many people again, and traffic!! met up with the irish lads from oz which was cool to see them!had a few cheeky drinks (well alot of cheeky drinks actually!) and yesterday we watched the rugby! the three of us almost walked straight into richie McCaw the nz captain in the street (would have been wuite pleasant!) and the teams bus went straight past us on route to the game, all very exciting! after a stress getting in as couldnt find where we picked up our tickets we were just in time for the hakka, then nightmare, we had dropped a ticket, we only had 5 tickets for the 6 of us and guess who was the one left without a ticket?....yep moi! so lucky for me i managed to huddle myself in the crowd and get in without one! thank god! so foudn our seats, 5 rows from front! amazing view the rain was relentless and we were thankful we were partially covered up!we were well in the spirit with irish flags on our faces, which all got a bit confusing when the kiwis kept asking us about irlenad etc! the kiwis were such a laugh and the banter between us all was relentless~ so much better than football, no trouble atall! so anyway irland last but it was a good game! me and amy particular appreciated the guys legs, theyre like giants and were practically stood so close to us we could touch them (but we were good and resisted!) so yeah think ive found myself a new sport!
weather here is still horrible! so not alot to do, plan to do sky tower and some galleries and generally chill. cant wait for fiji!
happy birthday dad and fathers day
tash xx
