Marc's been writing all the blogs so far so I guess I'm overdue.
Today we stayed around Sawtell and took it easy. As always, we started the day with breakfast at home and coffees at the Split cafe.
While in town, Marc signed up for surf lessons and I bought some skinny sandals (so hard to find!). Marc's surf lesson is tomorrow morning and it sounds like he'll be the only one in the class. I am going to watch and for sure I will be bringing the camera!
We went on a little walking adventure along the headlands. We found all these little balls of sand, each surrounding a little hole. After a little observation we discovered that little sand-coloured crabs live in each hole. They make a run for it until they decide they are doomed and then scrunch up into a ball, pretending they are dead - very cute!
I had a couple of naps today while Marc went out exploring... He has now walked the whole beach.
My head is doing fine. Able to do some reading, watch some TV, walk along the beach and do some little swims. I tried VB, Dave's favorite beer; it was quite tasty and I wish I could have drank the whole thing. Surprisingly, Marc finished it off!
That's it for today. Drinking some Rooibos tea before heading to bed.
