Tasha's Oriental Journey
This morning we woke up late, chatted for hours, had toast and Japanese curry for breakfast, and then went shopping in Ikebukuro.
Hey girlies, get this for the norm in Japan; they go shopping alone! I mean, there are hardly any Japanese girls, apparently, who go shopping with friends!
So Hiroka and me went around the shopping mall (I really cant think of another word other than mall, I'm sorry!) separately, and met up to go to the next floor (there are like, 7 floors in the OICITY mall).
For me, it felt so wierd, seeing as we all usually go shopping together, into every single shop, look at what the other person likes, give them our opinion on how they look in a certain outfit etc...
In Japan, they start out by having coffee. Then, they arrange a place to meet, go off shopping by themselves and meet up again a couple of hours later.
There's nothing wrong with this of COURSE! Its just a totally different culture from the one I'm used to!
I wonder if guys shop in the same kind of way: let me know!
So we went and had some coffee, and since Hiroka was going to be busy that afternoon/evening, I decided to go to Akihabara to buy some electrical stuff.
